Easter on the Green 2018

In Blog by admin

My team loves┬ábeing involved in the community , this year’s Madeley Primary School Easter on the Green was even bigger than last year’s fantastic event.

The atmosphere was great and the school P&C were super organised. Lead by highly efficient Carolyne Cole, they all chipped in that evening (not to mention the months and months of preparations) and needless to say were the last to leave, kudos to all.

There were all sorts of fun and games that the kids thoroughly enjoyed, food trucks were present dishing out a good selection of international cuisine.

MC for the evening was Peter Withnell who did an amazing job making sure everything was on cue.  The kids also put together a show, dance companies CA Flyers and Hype Dance Academy impressed the audience with their synchronized routines and we might have a representative at The X Factor soon as our resident singer Jordan Rabbone blew us away with his vocals.

The event raised in excess of $10,000 and this will surely bring much needed upgrades and improvements for Madeley Primary School.

I was honoured to be part of it and to celebrate my 10 years in the business, I gave away amazing freebies and prizes for residents who participated in the event. Sam won a nights stay at The Crown Towers, Danika won an Adventure World Family Pass and Rachel won Family Movie Tickets to Grand Cinemas. Prizes were also awarded to the kids who took part in the colouring in competition. It was a hard decision, congratulations to Madison,Tylar, Amari, Ruby who walked away with a Easter Hamper each.

What a night!! I’m truly blessed and extremely grateful to be able to immerse myself in this community and at same time be able to contribute back, an achievement i’m very proud of.
